This article will present one of the world�s most amazing works of Antoni Gaudi. His imagination was endless .
One of the most noteworthy Spanish building designers in the world was the well-known Antoni Gaudi, his full being Antoni Gaudi i Cornet. He was born on 25 June 1852, in Riudoms o Reus, and died on 10 June 1926, in Barcelona. This man was the most representative architect of the Spanish Modernism . He had become well-known for the use of volumes . We have to accept that his imagination was without end . Antoni Gaudi was able to project his works even before drawing them. He rarely drew extended plans of his works. At that time, Gaudi�s projects were real inventions , because of his fascinating and unsommon style .
The Casa Batll� is a very famous work of Antoni Gaudi. It�s remarkable by the unusual architecture and the used materials. Its initial name was Casa dels ossos, meaning the House of Bones, and the name was very suitable, because the house really has a skeletal organic quality. The fa�ade of the building is decorated by broken and colorful ceramic tiles. Another uncommon feature of Antoni Gaudi�s creation is the arched roof, which is similar to the look of a dragon and even a dinosaur. The roof terminates in a cross and turret. An interesting characteristic everybody should remark are the chimneys. Antoni Gaudi�s chimneys are personalized, all of them have an outstanding shape and design.
The Casa Mil�, known also as La Pedrera, is the largest civil building created by Antoni Gaudi. It was his last work after dedicating his time to the Sagrada Familia church. Building it was initiated by Pedro Mil� i Camps, who was astonished by the beauty of Casa Batll�. This building was not as colorful as the first one, but more unconventional, because there wasn�t used any straight line. Today, the floor top, the roof and the attic are open to visitors. The roof is the most fascinating part of the building. It has a number of unusual and colorful chimneys.
There were mentioned only some of the outstanding creations of Gaudi . Trust me, these creations need to be seen . Barcelona is a city that has a rich culture and it houses some of the most significant buildings of the architect. If you are visiting this wonderful city you can�t miss seeing a couple of these beautiful buildings: Park G�ell, La Sagrada Familia and etc.. . The Spanish art wouldn�t be so rich without Antoni Gaudi.
